Premier League reveal whether Tottenham vs Leicester will go ahead

The Premier League have now officially revealed that Tottenham vs Leicester City will go ahead as planned this weekend.

In an official announcement, the league revealed that seven of the ten scheduled matches would proceed as normal, including the game at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Aston Villa vs Southampton, Nottingham Forest vs Fulham, Wolves vs Man City, Newcastle vs Bournemouth, Brentford vs Arsenal, and Everton vs West Ham are the other fixtures set to be played this weekend.

However, Brighton vs Crystal Palace, Chelsea vs Liverpool, and Man United vs Leeds will all be postponed after consultations with clubs, the police, and advisory groups.

This comes after the entire football calendar was postponed last weekend as the country paid its respects to Her Majesty The Queen following her tragic death.

Tottenham Hotspur face Sporting Lisbon away in the Champions League on Tuesday before they take on Leicester at home, the latter of which will be broadcast on Sky Sports.

Spurs Web Opinion:

This is the best decision for all involved, and it will give people a chance to pay their respects with black armbands and a period of silence. With the fixture schedule how it is, the games need to be played now if possible.
