Premier League striker predicts where Tottenham will finish this season

Michail Antonio has predicted that Tottenham Hotspur will secure the final guaranteed Champions League qualification spot, backing the Lilywhites to pip Aston Villa to fourth place.

Until last week, Spurs were seen by many pundits as outsiders for fourth place but most have changed their tune after Ange Postecoglou’s men delivered a statement performance at Villa Park last Sunday and thumped the West Midlands side 4-0.

Not only does that result mean that the Lilywhites now have their destiny in their own hands, sitting just two points behind Villa with a game in hand, but the heavy defeat also potentially served as a major dent in the confidence of Unai Emery’s men.

Even Michail Antonio expects Spurs to finish fourth

With ten games still left in the season, there are still plenty of points to play for a lot of room for twists and turns, but Antonio has now backed Spurs to secure fourth place.

However, Tottenham fans will not like the West Ham star’s prediction for the title race, with the 33-year-old backing Arsenal to win the league.

When asked to predict his top four, Antonio told Footballer’s Football Podcast: “I’m gonna go Arsenal, Liverpool, City, Tottenham. Or come back to me in five games!”
