Premier League to make change that affects all of the ‘big six’ but Liverpool

Through this weekend, English clubs have been competing in the fifth round of the FA Cup, with many of the big Premier League sides progressing through.

Tottenham were knocked out of the competition in the fourth round against Crystal Palace, but they haven’t heard the end of the FA Cup.

Spurs were actually due to play Palace again in mid-March, but the game will now have to be rescheduled due to the FA Cup quarter finals.

Tottenham aren’t the only club affected either, as Man City and Man United were set to face off that weekend in the Prem too.

If Chelsea beat United tonight in the FA Cup, they too will face a rearranged fixture against Everton.

Wolves made it through to the quarters too, meaning their fixture with Arsenal is also set to be rescheduled.

This could potentially leave just Liverpool as the only big six club with a normal Prem fixture that weekend, giving the a chance to get extra points on the board.

Matches that may need to be rearranged:

Brighton v Cardiff
Everton v Chelsea
Man Utd v Man City
Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace
Watford v Southampton
Wolves v Arsenal
