Press claim Spurs have been in contact over this top player

Tottenham Hotspur are always on the lookout for some bargains in the transfer window, and Daniel Levy is never far away from negotiations.

Spurs actually failed to sign a single player in the summer transfer window, but they will have to invest in the squad sooner or later.

Perhaps the most obvious chance to improve their current crop would be through PSG’s wantaway midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Spurs and PSG have a good relationship on late, as Tottenham bought the likes of Lucas Moura and Serge Aurier from the French giants over the past two years.

Rabiot is out on contract in the summer, and L’Equipe reported in November that PSG were ready to sell him to a friend.

L’Equipe now claim that Rabiot will be offered a new deal worth 1 million Euros per month, but there is no guarantee he will take it.

They also say that Barcelona have been in contact, as well as Tottenham.
