Pundit claims Kane looked ‘fed up’ against Palace and transfer is still on his mind

Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor believes Harry Kane ‘looked very fed up’ and is still thinking about leaving Tottenham after the defeat to Crystal Palace.

The ex-England international also claimed the 28-year-old’s body language looked off as Spurs were swept aside 3-0 in a dismal showing at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles eased to victory against ten-man Spurs on Saturday thanks to a Wilfried Zaha penalty and a debut double for summer signing Odsonne Edouard.

It was a performance to forget for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side who lost their perfect Premier League record, made to be even more worrying considering star man Kane failed to register a shot on goal or touch in the Palace box.

The three-time golden boot winner was the subject of major interest from Manchester City over the summer, but a move never materialised due to Spurs’ demands for the forward.

Ex-Villa striker Agbonlahor believes the failed move is still playing on Kane’s mind and feels that it is affecting his commitment to the club.

He told talkSPORT: “Harry Kane looked a bit fed up today. I am a big believer of body language. I am looking at him. He looked very fed up. He probably thinks to himself, ‘I just wish that move had gone through’.”

Spurs Web Opinion

This is the first time in Kane’s career in the Premier League he has failed to register a shot or touch in a game where he had played 90 minutes. It was a performance to forget all-round in all honesty, but Kane himself has stated he is still committed to Spurs with the transfer saga over the summer apparently behind him.
