Pundit claims that there are big issues at Tottenham

Sky Sports football pundit Charlie Nicholas has shared his prediction ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League clash between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Mauricio Pochettino will take his squad to the Etihad and will be unable to call upon the services of four of his players.

Spurs have confirmed that Dele Alli and Ryan Sessegnon are both ruled out with respective hamstring problems while Juan Foyth and Heung-min Son are unavailable due the final match of their suspension.

Nicholas has claimed that there appears to be issues between the Spurs players and the club’s hierarchy which is out of the hands of manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Christian Eriksen made a big difference when was brought on against Villa last weekend and remains to be seen whether he will be given the nod to start.

The former Arsenal player has tipped City to run out as convincing winners to condemn Spurs to their first top flight defeat of the new season.

He told Sky Sports: “It’s a cracking game again I loved the Manchester United game against Chelsea, the way the game unfolded and how expansive it was. This is one of those games. There is a spark in my brain that questions where Mauricio Pochettino thinks he is? It is a judgement of where his team is at. What team will Pep Guardiola pick?

“Christian Eriksen came off the bench last week and helped, but do they change the system or format? I think there are issues at Tottenham, but it is not the manager’s making. It’s between the players and owners, but I see problems here for Tottenham. Man City, with Sterling having scored a hat-trick away from home, are mind-blowing.”
