Pundit delivers disappointing prediction for Fulham v Tottenham

Chris Sutton has had a go at predicting the score for this weekend’s game against Fulham, and he believes Tottenham Hotspur will only be able to manage a draw against the Cottagers.

Tottenham are right back on track in the Premier League of late, with back-to-back wins against Crystal Palace and Aston Villa taking them to within two points of fourth place.

The victory over Aston Villa, in particular, could have huge implications in the race for Champions League qualification. Villa are still ahead of Spurs, but Ange Postecoglou‘s men have a game in hand.

It seems Spurs are hitting form at just the right time, and they will be hoping momentum can carry them through the next game against Fulham, before the international break disrupts the flow of the season.

The Lilywhites travel to Craven Cottage on Saturday evening. Marco Silva’s side currently sit in 12th place, having been rather inconsistent all season. They lost to Wolves last weekend, but comfortably beat Brighton the week before.

Chris Sutton predicts Tottenham will draw at Fulham

Speaking on the Fantasy 606 podcast, Chris Sutton was asked to predict the outcome of the upcoming Premier League fixtures, and when it came to Spurs and Fulham, he suggested we could see a score draw.

He said: “Oh dear, Fulham are good at home and I backed against Tottenham this week against Aston Villa, I’m going to say 2-2.”

Spurs Web Opinion

I don’t like to get carried away or be overly confident, but after last weekend, I can’t see us blowing it and dropping points against Fulham. No offence to Silva’s side, but we have to be winning games like this if we are serious about challenging at the top of the league.

I fancy us to get a win. I’d go for a 2-0 win for Spurs.
