Stephen Warnock believes that Richarlison will be unhappy with Tottenham’s big-money acquisition of Dominic Solanke, suggesting that the Brazilian could ask to leave the club before the transfer window shuts.

Even before Tottenham acquired Dominic Solanke, Richarlison was heavily linked with a move away from the North London club.
That speculation has continued since the 26-year-old’s arrival, with various outlets suggesting that the Lilywhites wish to cash in on the former Everton man, who is attracting interest from Saudi Arabia (Football Insider).
However, Richarlison made it clear last week that he has already turned down a lucrative offer to move to the Saudi Pro League and that he plans to remain in the Premier League (ESPN).
Ange Postecolgou has confirmed that the Brazil international is part of his plans and that he will compete with Solanke for the number nine role (Football.London).

However, Warnock believes that Richarlison will be disgruntled if he is left on the bench for the first couple of matches and could demand to leave Hotspur Way late in the window.
The former Aston Villa left-back told Sky Sports News (12/08/24 at 11:40 am): “I have got a feeling Richarlison will go out on loan. I just don’t think he will sit there and be happy, with a new striker coming into the club and knowing he is playing second fiddle.
“Even in the wide areas, I think he will get to a point where he will go ‘no, I am going to have to go, I really do’.”
