Tony Cascarino believes that Harry Kane will put pen to paper on a new contract with Tottenham before Christmas.
Unlike last summer, Kane appears a lot more settled at Spurs this transfer window, with the striker admitting this week that he is excited to see what the 2022/23 campaign holds for the Lilywhites (Daily Mail).
Some reports have suggested over recent weeks that the 28-year-old is loving life under Antonio Conte and is willing to open talks with Tottenham regarding a new contract this summer (Evening Standard).
Alfredo Pedulla reported last week that Bayern were eyeing a move for the England captain this summer but this was quickly dismissed by y Sport Bild journalist Christian Falk and Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.
Cascarino is confident that, in light of Kane’s recent words to the media, the striker will sign a new contract with his boyhood club over the coming months.
The pundit told talkSPORT: “The Harry Kane interview in the Mail, he speaks about a lot of issues regarding England.
“But also regarding Spurs, which might make Spurs fans a little bit better – I believe he will sign a new contract before Christmas at Spurs.”

I would be extremely surprised if Spurs do not make a contract offer to Kane this summer. The Tottenham hierarchy will want to take advantage of the feel-good factor around the club at the moment and get the striker to commit his future.
