Pundit reveals when he thinks Tottenham will sell Harry Kane this summer

Ex-Premier League striker Gabby Agbonlahor has suggested that the Harry Kane transfer saga may drag on until transfer deadline day on 31 August.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Aston Villa and England forward insisted that Man City will do everything in their power to capture the England captain.

He said: “I think it will be one of those sagas that lasts the whole summer, Harry Kane.

“I don’t think he’s going to go until right until the transfer window closes. Man City will try hard to get him signed.

“It just depends whether Levy is going to price him out of a move.”

Sky Sports reported earlier this summer that Manchester City had made a £100m bid for Tottenham’s talismanic striker.

They also reported that City were open to including players in addition to the cash offer, but Tottenham remain disinterested in parting with their prized asset.

Sky Sports also exclusively reported last month that Kane had told Spurs he wanted to leave this summer with Man City, Manchester United, and even rivals Chelsea interested.

Kane has scored four goals at Euro 2020 so far and will lead his country out against Italy in an attempt to win his first major trophy.

The Kane saga feels like it’s going to last forever. Even if this summer isn’t the one, there is a general feeling feel like it will still continue into next summer unless he signs a new contract which you can’t see it happening. We will have to wait and see, but the thought of Kane leaving N17 is a painful one.
