Darren Bent has claimed that Antonio Conte would prefer to play against Leeds United over any other Premier League side given how open Marcelo Bielsa’s side tend to be.
Leeds will the visitors to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Conte’s first home Premier League game in charge of Spurs.
The Italian would want to get a win under his belt after seeing his side drop two points at Goodison Park two weeks ago.
However, the Lilywhites will be without some key players, with Oliver Skipp being suspended for the clash and Cristian Romero being ruled out with an injury.
Conte also confirmed in his press conference on Friday that Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Giovani Lo Celso also need assessment before the game.
Leeds are seemingly suffering from the second-season syndrome, with Bielsa’s men currently sitting in 15th place in the table after eleven matches.
Bent believes the West Yorkshire side would be the perfect opponent for Spurs, given the firepower the home side have upfront.

The former Tottenham man told the United View: “I expect them (Spurs to win) because Leeds are so open in the way they play.
“If there ever was a team you would want to play against if you were Antonio Conte, then it would probably be Leeds.
“I like Leeds, but going to a place like Spurs when you have Son, Moura and Kane.
“These guys are going to exploit these types of spaces. I expect Spurs to win that one.”
Spurs Web Opinion
I do worry for us if Hojbjerg is not fit for the clash as a midfield two of Winks and Ndombele might leave us defensively exposed.
However, one would think that we have the firepower to outscore Leeds, particularly given that Kane’s confidence would be up on the back of his performances for England.
