Pundit says Tottenham youngster is now the best in his position in the league

Gabby Agbonlahor has labelled Tottenham’s Destiny Udoige as the best left-back in the Premier League on the back of the youngster’s impressive start to his Spurs career.

Even though Udogie had won many admirers with his displays for Udinese over the last two years, it was certainly not a given that he would hit the ground running at Tottenham, particularly given that he had to adapt to a new role.

However, the 21-year-old has looked comfortable in the inverted full-back role from day one and seems to be getting better with each game that he plays.

The Italian has been so impressive that Spurs decided to reward him with a contract extension, with the club confirming last week that the youngster had penned a new deal running until 2030.
