A pundit has now opined that one Tottenham man who is winning admirers out on loan is not ready to play for Ange Postecoglou’s side and suggested a potential destination for the player for next season.
Luka Vuskovic has had a couple of loan spells since Tottenham signed him from Hajduk Split 18 months ago, and the defender will link up with the Spurs squad for the first time this summer.
The centre-back is continuing to impress at Westerlo, with his displays in the Belgian top-flight this season getting a lot of Spurs fans excited.
The teenager will have a chance to catch Ange Postecoglou‘s eye in pre-season and Vuskovic is certainly confident that he is good enough to make an impact on the Tottenham first-team.

Pundit claims Luka Vuskovic should continue in Belgium
Patrick Goots, who represented KRC Genk and Royal Antwerp during his playing career, claims that the freshly-turned 18-year-old is not ready to play for his parent club just yet.
Goots stated that a loan to Royal Antwerp may be the ideal next step for the Croat, suggesting that he could replace former Tottenham hero, Toby Alderweireld, at the club.
The pundit told Gazet van Antwerpen (as relayed by Voetbal Krant): “Vuskovic is very all round, only the pure pace he lacks a bit, and there is a good head. He will also realise it is too early for a return [move] to Tottenham.
“I think he’s in any case a very interesting profile for Antwerp, where Toby Alderweireld and Zeno Van den Bosch will disappear from the heart of the defence after this season. Competing for prizes, and who knows, maybe playing European, would be an ideal intermediate step.”
Can Vuskovic make an impact at Spurs next season?
Ange Postecoglou has repeatedly shown that he is not shy to hand opportunities to teenagers if they show that they are good enough.
However, centre-back is one position where experience matters more than most others, which is why Spurs will ideally want Vuskovic to continue playing regularly out on loan next season.
A loan move to the Championship might be the best next step for the teenager as it would give him a taste of the physicality and intensity of English football.
