Chris Sutton believes that Harry Kane will be jealous of the kind of attacking football Tottenham are producing at the minuteand that a part of him will wish that he had not left his boyhood club.
Many questioned in the summer where Tottenham’s goals were going to come from following Kane’s departure, with some pundits even suggesting that the Lilywhites would finish in the bottom half (Sky Sports).
However, Spurs have had no issues in the goalscoring front, having found the back of the net 44 times in 21 Premier League games so far, which is a testament to Ange Postecoglou and the brand of football that he has got the side playing.
On an individual level, Kane has been outstanding since his switch to Germany, having scored 26 times and provided eight assists across all competitions (Transfermarkt).
However, things are not going to plan for Bayern, who sit seven points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen. Thomas Tuchel’s men are also already out of the DFB Pokal Cup and there is now a very real possibility that they will end the season without any silverware.

Will Harry Kane be jealous of Tottenham under Postecoglou?
Speaking on Mail Sport’s podcast It’s All Kicking Off, Ian Ladyman joked that Harry should ‘come home’ amidst the German club’s woes.
He said: “Bayern Munich lost again this weekend. Lost at home to Werder Bremen. Seven points behind Leverkusen now. Harry, you’ve got to come home mate.
“Harry, you’re out of the German Cup. You’ve got to come home. You’re not going to get your medal at Bayern. You’ve got to come home. Come back to Tottenham, mate.”
Sutton responded: “Listen, I’m going to stand by what I said. I think Harry will be looking at what’s gone on at Spurs, watching their brand of football. I think there’s a bit of jealousy there.”
Spurs Web Opinion
Kane is not the sort of character to second-guess his decisions. He will be fully focused on doing well for Bayern and leading them to silverware this season.
While a part of him might wonder ‘what if’, I suspect that he would make the same decision again if he had the chance to, with the striker now having fully bought into the project at the Allianz Arena.
