Neil Warnock has played down speculation linking QPR with Peter Crouch.
He said: “I’d love Joe Cole and Peter Crouch but I don’t think they’ll be at QPR.
“It’s nice to be linked with people like that. When Crouch was first mentioned, I didn’t think we could afford one of his shoe laces.
“I’ve only made one enquiry for Scott Parker and haven’t been in since. We have a number of options and I’m optimistic about them.”
