Florinel Coman, one of Radu Dragusin’s international teammates, has heaped praise on the new Tottenham Hotspur defender and claimed he is a ‘super’ signing for the Premier League club.
After a long negotiation process, Tottenham finally acquired their top defensive target this month, with Radu Dragusin arriving in North London to provide extra depth in the centre-back area for Ange Postecoglou‘s squad.
According to the player’s agent, Florin Manea, Spurs had been speaking to Dragusin for roughly two months before the deal was agreed (TuttoMercatoWeb). The player reportedly chose Spurs as he felt more wanted by the club as opposed to Bayern Munich (GSP via Sport Witness).
In his first interview as a Tottenham player last week, Dragusin spoke about how he felt the move was right for his career and about the positive ‘connection’ he felt with the club and his new manager. Likewise, Postecoglou has reiterated how confident he is that the new boy will ‘fit in’ at Spurs.
Dragusin is a great signing for Spurs
Clearly, Dragusin is happy with his decision to sign for Spurs, and Postecoglou and the fans are happy with their newest addition, too. And so they should be, according to Dragusin’s Romania teammate, Florinel Coman.
He told Romanian outlet Digisport: “Super. I was extremely happy for him, because I know how much he works, I know how much he dedicates himself. He is a consummate professional, he trains impeccably, he is mature, he is mentally strong.”
