Ramon Vega predicts Tottenham player is ‘on the way out’ of the N17 club

Former Tottenham player Ramon Vega has suggested that Tanguy Ndombele is ‘on the way out’ of the club.

Spurs signed the talented French midfielder for a club-record £63 million fee from Lyon in the summer of 2019.

However, the 25-year-old has struggled with injuries and consistency during his stint in North London and was recently left as an unused substitute during the 1-0 win at Watford on New Year’s Day.

Antonio Conte elected to deploy his preferred midfield pairing of Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, and then turned to Harry Winks later on during the encounter.

The decision means Ndombele has accumulated just 11 minutes of Premier League action in the last three games and has still earned just one start under the Italian.

Ex-Spurs defender Vega believes Ndombele is approaching the end of his days at Spurs and feels a move away from the club is looking all the more likely, adding that he would not look to keep him on board if it were his choice.

It doesn’t look too good for Ndombele at the moment and it’s a shame considering how talented he is. It seems like he has to earn the trust of Conte and right now that doesn’t look to be the case considering he is looking at other options over him.
