Amid ongoing rumours that Randal Kolo Muani has picked up another injury at Tottenham, journalists Matt Law and Alasdair Gold have now provided an update on the Frenchman.
Xavi Simons has now been ruled out for the rest of 2026 after suffering an ACL tear in Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Wolves on Saturday.
The Dutchman’s injury is the latest blow to Roberto De Zerbi after Mohammed Kudus suffered a setback in his recovery and captain Cristian Romero picked up an injury that may rule him out for the rest of the season.
To make matters worse, Dominic Solanke was also forced off against Wolves, but De Zerbi suggested that the England international’s injury is not serious.

Will Randal Kolo Muani be fit to feature against Aston Villa for Tottenham?
There have been rumours circlulating on social media over the last 24 hours that Kolo Muani may also have suffered a hamstring injury.
That would have come as a bitter blow for the Lilywhites in their quest to remain in the Premier League, but thankfully, Matt Law has now revealed that the reports are untrue.
This has also been backed up by Alasdair Gold, who revealed that the rumours are wide off the mark and that the forward will be fit for the club’s clash at Villa Park on Sunday.
Spurs could welcome two of their senior men back
James Maddison appears to be nearing a return, with the attacking midfielder being named on the bench for Tottenham’s last two matches.
However, De Zerbi revealed that Maddison did feel some pain in his knee last week, and it thus remains to be seen if the 29-year-old would be risked anytime soon.
Meanwhile, the Tottenham boss has also revealed that he expects Guglielmo Vicario to return to training this week.
