Rate the Players: Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 PSV Eindhoven

Tottenham Hotspur have finally managed to scrape a victory in the Champions League at the fourth attempt of the season.

The visitors silenced the Wembley crowd after just two minutes of action when the former Newcastle United striker Luuk de Jong heading past Paulo Gazzaniga to score his second in as many matches against Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Harry Kane levelled the score on 78 minutes with a left footed strike past the inspired Jeroen Zoet. The Spurs star sent the home fans into frenzy ten minutes later when his headed effort took two deflections and beyond Zoet to put the home side 2-1 ahead.

Elsewhere in Group B, Inter Milan scored a late equaliser at home to Barcelona.

Spurs currently trail Inter by three points which sets up a huge encounter on November 28th when the Italians make the trip to London.
