Tottenham Hotspur fell to a frustrating 1-0 defeat at the hands of Royal Antwerp this evening in the Europa League after a dominant defensive display from the home side.
Until tonight, Spurs had not lost a match this season since the opening day defeat to Everton in the Premier League.
The Lilywhites had also started the Europa League group stage in perfect fashion with a 3-0 victory over LASK last Thursday.
Antwerp pounced on some uncertain play from Ben Davies in the first half, dispossessing the Welshman in his own third and racing through two on one to score.
The Belgian side then had numerous chances throughout the match to make it two, many of which came from individual errors from the likes of Sanchez, Davies, and Winks.
On the attacking side of things, Spurs were out of ideas and even resorted to bringing Kane and Son off the bench, but to no avail.
