Some Liverpool fans have not taken kindly to what Tottenham Hotspur forward Lucas Moura has had to say about Virgil van Dijk.
The former Celtic defender has been impressive at the heart of the Reds defence following his £75 million move from Southampton in December 2017 (BBC).
The Spurs player has questioned a statistic which was produced by Opta following the Champions League final in Madrid on June 1st in which Spurs lost 2-0 to Jurgen Klopp’s side. Opta Joe tweeted:
0 – No opposition player has completed a dribble past Virgil van Dijk in any of his last 64 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool. Rock. #UCLFinal pic.twitter.com/VlviY2ohRH

Moura questioned the stat regarding Van Dijk being dribble-less and reminded people the goal he scored against Liverpool in the 2-1 Premier League defeat at Anfield back in March.
Despite not agreeing with the stat, the former PSG player did share some praise of the Liverpool central defender but stopped short of naming him as the best defender in world football at present.
Here’s how some Liverpool fans reacted to Moura’s comments on social media.
So if I ran behind your back I've already dribbled past you!! What a clown ?
