Real Madrid remove Gareth Bale from online shirt store amidst Tottenham links

Real Madrid have now removed Gareth Bale’s name from the ‘shop by player’ shirt option on their online store.

This comes after several publications have reported that the Welshman is now set for a sensational return to Tottenham Hotspur (BBC).

Others have claimed that he is simply waiting for the green light from Madrid before flying to London for a medical (Sky Sports).

Bale left North London seven years ago to play for Los Blancos, eventually winning four Champions League titles and a host of other trophies.

However, the Welshman’s agent revealed this week that Bale still loves Tottenham and is keen on returning there this summer (BBC).

It appears that the latest clue nodding towards a Real Madrid exit comes in the form of a website change. While Bale remains listed on the first-team squad page, he has been removed from the shirt store options on shop.realmadrid.com.

Bale played 203 times for Tottenham and scored 55 goals before leaving in 2013 (Wikipedia).
