Real Madrid vs Tottenham – Facts, Injuries, and Lineups

On October 17th, we travel to Madrid where we will play the last season La Liga and UCL champions, Real Madrid. It will be considered a very important game and a critical test in our Champions League campaign. Here’s the news of both squads and what could we expect of this big game.

One fact to know is that we have faced Real Madrid four times in our history, and never won, losing three games and drawing one. On our side, Wanyama, Lamela, and Rose are still out for injuries, though are much closer to fitness as they started their training sessions. Dembele is still a doubt to feature while Dele Alli still suspended and has one more game to serve. Moreover, Davies is still struggling to be fit.

On the other hand, Madrid’s (and former Spur) Bale would most probably miss out the game as he still struggles to gain full fitness. Keylor Navas is also a doubt after suffering an muscle injury during the international break as well as Mateo Kovacic.

Expected Lineups:

Tottenham: Lloris; Vertonghen, Sanchez, Alderweireld; Aurier, Dier, Dembele, Davies; Eriksen, Kane, Son

Madrid: Casilla, Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Nacho, Modric, Casemiro, Kroos, Ronaldo, Isco, Benzema
