Recent Spurs signing once again finds himself out in the cold

Tottenham Hotspur have a track record of signing young talent from other clubs with the likes of Danny Rose, Dele Alli and Gareth Bale all going on to enjoy great success in North London.

One player who Spurs fans would hope to follow in their footsteps is Jack Clarke.

The 18-year-old became the club’s first signing since Lucas Moura made the move from PSG 517 days prior to Clarke’ arrival (Sky Sports).

Clarke joined the Champions League finalists from Leeds United for an initial fee of £8.5million and was immediately loaned back to his former side for the duration of the 2019/20 season.

Leeds were back in Championship action last night and Clarke was once again absent from Marcelo Bielsa’s squad.

Clarke has only featured for Leeds in their EFL Cup win over Salford City, and has been an unused substitute twice whilst missing out completely from the match day squad in the last two league matches.

The winger’s situation will no doubt be on the radar of Spurs who will surely have to make a decision shortly if their player continues to be overlooked.
