Harry Redknapp has revealed Tottenham are making slow progress in their bid to sign David Beckham on loan.
Beckham has only had permission to begin training with the rest of the Spurs squad on Friday and a deal to get him playing looks still a long way off.
“We have only just got permission, it has just been agreed, that he can train with us today,” Redknapp said at his press conference on Friday. ”
There has been a bit of issue over that, so he has been joining in doing little bits. But they have now said he can join in today and join in with everything we are doing in training.
“I have had no conversation with anyone at LA Galaxy, so at the moment I don’t think there is any progress on him playing.”
