Redknapp can’t find place for Jenas

Harry Redknapp has bemoaned the fact he can’t find a place in his first team for Jermaine Jenas.

Wilson Palacios and Tom Huddlestone have filled the central midfield roles lately, with Jenas resigned to a place on the bench.

And Redknapp has admitted he’s struggling to accomodate all three, when he feels they all deserve a place in the team.

“Two of them are trying to get in that England squad and Wilson, has been fantastic. I tried playing all three of them against Sunderland with Robbie Keane in behind them, but it didn’t really work.

“We got away with it without playing very well, but there’s nothing to say that system wouldn’t work another day.”

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. no Harry should not play jenas ahead of Hud and seargent wilson ,he makes us to light weight when he plays ,and please Harry dont play all 3 of them together, we should not take risks to our standing in the league

  2. Yes dont play Jenas unless Hudd or Wilson starts losing possession too easily, as they did at times against Villa. Jena just didn’t cut it against MANURE JUNIORS. And no Keane too, please. I hope to see Pav out there instead.

  3. Harry must be the only person except Jenas who bemoans not being able to find a place in the team…the word crap springs to mind in the same sentence as jenas
    Bring on Bostock!!!
