Italian press reports are claiming that Spurs boss Harry Redknapp was in Italy on Sunday to watch the Serie A match between Atalanta and Palermo.

Danish central defender Simon Kjaer, has previously attracted interest from a number of clubs including Spurs, Liverpool and Real Madrid and played the full 90 minutes in his team’s 2-1 win against Atalanta.

Kjaer’s team-mate Edinson Cavani was also reportedly watched by Redknapp.  The Uruguayan striker has scored 32 goals for Palermo in 107 appearances since joining from Danubio in 2007.
