Alan Hutton has been challenged by Harry Redknapp to break back into the Tottenham Hotspur first team.
The Scottish full-back came off the bench with Spurs 1-0 down to Wolves to help turn the game and help Spurs to a 3-1 win at the Lane, and scored a lucky third.
With Vedran Corluka’s lack of pace and recent indifferent form, Hutton now has the chance to regain his right-back slot.
“It’s the kind of form he’s capable of,” Redknapp said.
“I spoke to him during the week and he’s a great attacking full-back.
“I said to him he needs to concentrate a little bit more defensively and, if he does that, he’s got everything.
“He’s a great athlete; when he gets forward, he’s got unbelievable pace. He’s aggressive, he’s quick, it’s all there.
“It’s up to him to push on now. Let’s hope he continues to do that.”
