Aaron Lennon and Jermaine Jenas will also miss out, whilst Vedran Corluka is a doubt.
Ledley King is expected to reurn to bolster the back four, whilst Danny Rose and Jake Livermore are in contention to play as Spurs begin a tough run-in with a series of matches.
Harry Redknapp claimed; “It may be an opportunity for one or two of our younger players to show what they can do.
“That’s the way I’m thinking at the moment.”
