Harry Redknapp has strongly denied rumours that he is set to get a bonus for guiding Spurs into the Champions League.
Some rumours had suggested that the Spurs boss could get up to £2million for finishing fourth, but Redknapp insists that it’s all rubbish.
Redknapp said: “I never got a penny bonus. Where the story came from I got £2m is a disgrace. I didn’t ask for any bonus and didn’t want any. It’s disgusting to suggest I did. I’ve a contract where my job is to finish as high as I can and that’s what I did.
“I don’t want any extra for just doing my job. It’s nonsense. I’m very disappointed with certain papers who wrote it. I get my wages and I’m happy.”
