Harry Redknapp - Tottenham Hotspur Football News

Harry Redknapp has been named Premier League manager of the month for September.

Spurs have claimed maximum points in the league during the month and will be looking to extend the run against Arsenal on Sunday.

“It’s always nice to win an award,” Redknapp told Spurs’ official website.

“We have had a good month and played some good football so I couldn’t be more pleased.

“We have put in some great performances, especially against Liverpool as well as picking up two away wins against Wigan and Wolves and credit must go to all the players for that.”

  1. Lets hope he wins October Manager of the month aswell. There is a more pressing award Harry should be doing on Sunday and that is handing Jermaine Defoe his starting shirt against Arsenal.. My argument for Harry Picking jermaine are firstly he was building a partnership with Ady and we played fast attacking football and destroyed Liverpool. then we changed the team and in the second half never protected our two goal lead Van stopped playing after he scored Ady made one goal but failed too score for the first time and with Defoe he gets more space because Van starts going deeper and deeper has the game goes on. Harry must not play a team too stop Arsenal but one too attack there weakness there defence with this team. Freidel Walker King Kaboul Bale Lennon Parker Modric Van Defoe Ady

  2. I reckon it would be foolhardy to only play 10 players, so I reckon we should add BAE as left-back….granted, he made a couple of mistakes last week but to leave him out and not even replace him is the ultimate snub!!!

  3. interesting dav. But i just worried that LB will be swamped by Chamberlain or Walcott and Bale will be doubled team. Suggest to drop either vdv or Lennon and looking at their LB, I will suggest to play to the speed of Lennon
