Harry Redknapp has shrugged off Roberto Mancini’s claim that Gareth Bale will be a ‘strong target’.

“Well I don’t know why Roberto would talk about Gareth really. It’s great to have him here and long may he stay at Tottenham,” he told Sky Sports News.

“I don’t see any way that he’s going to be looking to move. He doesn’t want to move and we don’t want to sell him.

“If you’re building a football club you don’t sell young players like Gareth Bale. So he’s here to stay hopefully.”

  1. From a well respected horses mouth in Serie A has said that AC and Inter Milan are both considering bids for Carlos Tevez, however, any move for the Argetinian would see Manchester City lose 90% of their potential, such a great percentage loss in work rate ratio would be devastating for the club.

  2. I’m getting little sick of Manchester city tactic try to unsettle every club in premiership well it’s not going to work let’s bid 60-70 million for bales and got him what do think spurs would do with that sort of money also Manchester city can’t treat footballs like stable ponies who can sit around waiting for chance to race at derby, vast majority of players want to play football let’s see how buy another strikers works for Manchester city come Feb. and march or more importantly new uefa rule on football finance how they going to get down to 55% of turnover from 150%

  3. mancini can deny it all he likes. selling bale would be the biggest mistake our club has ever made, carrick and berbatov went to another level. we are close to that level, to sell bale twhen so close is tantamount to giving up

  4. We will all be sick of Man CITY OILERS with every players wages and transfers with every penny on the price of petrol the main ingredient and source of there owners revenue . 60 dollors a Barrell god if anymore come over and buy we will be riding bikes like the once poor Chinese did we win the war because we lost all our jobs it started with our chippies where losing the pubs now our football is getting sold.
