Redknapp: I don’t care if players moan

Tottenham players have been warned by Harry Redknapp that he won’t stand for any players who moan about first-team opportunities.

Redknapp has already brought Peter Crouch to bolster his striking options, and could be joined by Real Madrid’s Klaas-Jan Huntelaar – which would bring the number of senior strikers at the Lane to five.

“I don’t care,” Redknapp said. “It’s not about keeping them happy, they have to keep me happy and the fans happy – that is what they are paid to do.

“It’s up to them as they have got to fight to play, it’s all about competition for places.”

  1. Yeah yeah you say that now harry, but when your golden boy crouchy start crying on the training ground, you’ll give him a slap on the bum and say, ok. ill drop Keano or Pav so you can play with Defoe upfront like the good old day LOL HEHE
But yeah too right, you tell em Harry

  2. Man after my own heart. They get paid lots of money; moaning, sulking, unintelligence and nerviness need to be eradicated. Name and talent mean nothing- produce it on field especially away from Home. Our away record is diabolical.
