Harry Redknapp

Harry Redknapp was bullish about Tottenham’s chances in the Champions League, claiming his side ‘fear no-one’.

Tottenham will face Inter Milan, Werder Bremen and FC Twente in Group A of the Champions League and Redknapp is backing his players to advance to the knockout stages.

“Are we worried about taking on Inter? Am I worried about going to the San Siro Stadium? Do my players think they are inferior?

“No, no and no again. We will treat every team with respect, as no-one gets into this competition unless they are a top, top outfit.

“But on our day, we are capable of beating anyone.

“I won’t be changing just because we are in the Champions League.

“We will have a go at teams, especially at home, because that is how we are – an attacking side who play an open game.

“When I came here to White Hart Lane, the dream was to get into the group stages and we’ve achieved that.

“Eeveryone is looking forward to going to Inter, Bremen and Twente.

“We haven’t made many changes to the squad here and we don’t need to.”

  1. Does anybodyelse receive the impression that the whole media wants Spurs to lose and look stupid at the first,
recent attempt in Europe. Adrian Chiles was a prime example on Wednesday- what the hell does he know about
European glory? The dozy, smug twat supports West Brom for God's sake… When we beat Inter, a team I have
infinite respect for and nothing against, it will be interesting to see what self-seeking spin the hacks put on the result.

  2. I watched Andy Gray and Richard Keys casting a cloud of doom over our campagn after the draw was fmade and wanted to climb into the tv and bang their heads together. Then I came on here and read so called Spurs supporters being equally pessimistic. Makes me sick. I think we have a good chance of qualifying from that group. COYS!!! Belief got us here and belief will get us through the group!

  3. I hope the media stay firmly against us, because it proves time again they know bugger all about FA. Did you know that Arsenal for example are 'back to their very best', does that mean rolling over against Chelsea, Man Utd and anyone else prepared to work hard and close them down?. Walcott is now 'World Class' after his fantastic display against Blackpool's 10 men. Yet we did deep, away from home minus 5 first teamers, yet only 'scrape' a win!
If I were Harry I'd just get those who can ,read aloud to those that cant and just let the press do HR's motivational talking for him.Balls to them, we're doing fine anyway. Andy Gray is a great reason for choosing 'crowd' on your handset audio.
