Harry Redknapp has praised Luka Modric for his attitude despite the fact he wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur.
The Croatian is desperate for a move to Chelsea but still travelled with the rest of the Spurs squad to South Africa and captained the side in two of their games.
Redknapp said: “His attitude has been first class, he’s just got on with it.
“There are players who, if they wanted to move and didn’t, would really not want to be playing.
“But he only knows one way to play. He’s a fantastic pro and his attitude couldn’t have been better.
“We don’t want to sell Luka. We can’t just be selling our best players.
“Certain players have that extra bit of class, like Rafa van der Vaart – he scores two again, he scored the other day, a great free-kick. You can’t replace them.
“Luka and Rafa are special. You have to keep special ones, they make the difference.”
