Harry Redknapp has revealed that Tottenham have not offered Eidur Gudjohnsen improved terms to what West Ham offered.
The former Chelsea and Barcelona striker is on the verge of a loan switch to White Hart Lane after it appears he has chosen to play for Spurs over the Hammers.
Redknapp told The Sun: “We’ve been talking about him for nearly two weeks and when we heard West Ham were interested we made our move.
“We are not paying a penny more than West Ham were offering him.
“Two identical deals were on the table. In the end it was a straight choice for Eidur.”
Have something to tell us about this article?
Nobody in their right mind would choose to play for the spammers instead of Spurs…. well nobody with ambition… perhaps they should go for joe cole he appears to have no ambition to be anything other than a bench warmer at chavski.
I’m a Lilywhite but have to contest your last statement – J Cole is doing phenomenally well at Chel$ki having only just come back from a long time out injured. Where you get your observations from Id love to know.
COYS!!
What Sullivan said persists…..
Let`s see what happens when he goes in the witness box.
I don’t want him.
He’s absolutely useless.
And we’ve got Pav who is a super striker
A short while ago Harry was banging on about only needing three
strikers, now he’s got five. Pav is the class act among the other three. If a miracle happens and Crouch manages to control the ball he invariably shoots straigt at the keeper. Keane is past his sell by date, and D
yes this is the man that spurs need
