Harry hints at spat with Spurs board

Harry Redknapp - Tottenham Hotspur News

Sacked Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp feels “people at the top” didn’t like him.

Redknapp claims that he won’t become downbeat or bitter about his White Hart Lane departure and has hinted at a possible clash between himself and the Tottenham board.

He took over at the helm at White Hart Lane in October 2008 and guided us into the Champions League at the first time of asking but failed to get us back in Europe’s elite club competition over the past two seasons.

Harry told The Sun: “I won’t slit my throat over it. I want to get on with my life instead of moping about getting the sack.

“I loved every minute of my time at Spurs and I’ve no regrets whatsoever.

“I don’t feel bitter, nor regretful, there’s no confusion or anger.”

He added: “When people at the top don’t like you, what can you do about it? I have to respect it. I can’t do anything about that.”
