Redknapp: Stoke won’t be an easy game

Tottenham Hotspur are in for a tough game against Stoke City, that’s the view of Harry Redknapp.

The Spurs boss is a fan of the work that Tony Pulis has done in charge of the Potters and believes that they can finish in the top half of the Premier League this season.

“Stoke are strong, they are a good side and Tony has done a great job for them,” Redknapp said.

“I can see them finishing in the top half having established themselves as a Premier League club, and they have a fanatical support.”

He added: “I know Ricardo Fuller well, I’ve bought him a couple of times. James Beattie and Fuller are a real handful.

“I’m expecting a real difficult game, nobody gets an easy game with Stoke.”

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Harry should be saying we should win this game if we play to our attacking strength. He shouldn’t be bumming stoke up if we have top four ambitions this game should be won and stoke got walloped 4-0 by Liverpool .Ferguson would never sing the praises of a team beaten by is rivals 4-0 this sends the wrong message to is team and is one of the reasons some of is players are expecting a tough game even though we are at home .We shouldn’t disrespect Stoke but neither should we fear them and if we want to stay in the top four we should talk the talk and make teams fear coming to white hot lane and getting walloped like Burnley .We still don’t have this mentality yet but when Harry feels it the team will feel it and so will us nail biting fans Utds mentality is losing at home is unthinkable losing away is possible but unlikely, that’s why they are champions and we are hoping for a win Lets start a new mentality from the stands and demand a win not on points but a knock-out make it so hot STOKE SHIVER IN THERE SHORTS AND SEND OUR TEAM TO THE TOP 12345 WILL DO WE WANT MORE.COYS

  2. I think this is more for the players benefit than anyone else. If we get sloppy we could come unstuck but if we play the way we can everyone knows we can take them apart. We know it and Stoke know but if we think we have already won before we walk onto the pitch we will have problems. That is what Harry is alluding to.
