Redknapp watches Remy

Harry Redknapp

Harry Redknapp was in attendence as France slipped to a friendly defeat to Norway, as he made further checks on Loic Remy.

Remy has been the centre of a long-running transfer saga, with as many as eight Premier League clubs rumoured to be interested in bringing the Nice striker to England.

Spurs are apparently head of the queue at the moment, with the player admitting they are an attractive proposition and Redknapp flew to Oslo to watch his man in action.

Remy played 45 minutes of France’s defeat and was watched by representatives of many other clubs as well, including Liverpool and Chelsea.

Nice are prepared to sell for the right price, but Spurs will probably have to sacrifice a forward before they sign Remy.

One of the triumvate of Peter Crouch, Robbie Keane and Roman Pavlyuchenko will have to make way, with all three having been linked with moves away from Spurs this summer.
