Referee and match day officials confirmed for Sunday’s North London derby

The Premier League has confirmed that Michael Oliver will be the official who will take charge of the all-important North London derby on Sunday.

While Tottenham and Arsenal have to first navigate a Europa League round of 16 tie tomorrow night, both North London clubs will already have half an eye on the big game at the weekend.

Jose Mourinho’s men will need three points if they want to keep pace with the likes of Leicester, West Ham and Chelsea in the race for the top four.

While Arsenal are realistically out of the running for the top four, the Gunners need to win the game if they are to give themselves a decent shot of avoiding finishing below Spurs for the fifth season in a row.

The two clubs are currently separated by seven points in the table and a win for the Lilywhites will likely make the gap insurmountable for Mikel Arteta’s men.

Oliver will be the man in the middle at the Emirates and is supported by Stuart Burt and Simon Bennett as his assistants.

Kevin Friend will be the fourth official, while Paul Tierney has been put in charge of VAR.
