Galicia Press have suggested that it might not be too long before we see Yago Santiago make his senior Tottenham debut, with the young winger said to impressing the staff at Hotspur Way.
Santiago, who was born in Galacia and spent his early years in the Celta Vigo academy, made the switch to Spurs in 2019, and has since made his way through the age group ranks, establishing himself as a key member of the Under-21s set-up over the last couple of years.
The winger has been one of the standout performers for the side this season, with six goals and four assists in just nine appearances in Premier League 2 (Transfermarkt).
The 20-year-old was rewarded with a place on the bench for Tottenham’s FA Cup fourth-round clash against Manchester City last week, which is perhaps a sign that he is at the forefront of Ange Postecoglou’s thinking.

Yago Santiago making waves at Tottenham
Galicia Press suggest that the winger has many admirers at the North London club and is now slowly but surely finding his place among the senior squad.
They say that while Ange Postecoglou ‘lacked the courage’ to bring Santiago against Man City, the skilful wide-man is now getting ‘closer and closer’ to his first-team debut.
The publication adds that the youngster has bulked up at Hotspur Way and they sound confident that he will make the grade at Tottenham, even asserting that the Premier League is ‘not prepared for what’s coming’ as he is ready to ‘shine and fly’ in English football.
Spurs Web Opinion
Santiago has perhaps not got the limelight he deserves due to the other amazing talents coming through the ranks at Hotspur Way at the moment, including Jamie Donley, Alfie Devine, Dane Scarlett and others.
The Spaniard is also older than those players, which is why it is perhaps a surprise that Tottenham have not considered loaning him out.
