Romanian outlet ProSport (as relayed by Sport Witness) have revealed that Tottenham target Radu Dragusin is keen on moving to the Premier League but they suggest that a transfer is more likely next summer.
If reports over the last couple of weeks are to be believed, Dragusin has emerged as one of Tottenham’s top centre-back targets, with the North London club’s scouts alleged to have been impressed by the Genoa star (Football Transfers).
A couple of days ago, TEAMtalk asserted that Spurs are ready to step up their pursuit of the Romanian international, who was said to be valued by the Serie A side at around £26m.
January move not on the cards for Radu Dragusin
ProSport have now stated that Dragusin is not expected to sign a new contract with Genoa as an exit is soon in the offing.
They suggested that the centre-back would ‘like to play’ in the Premier League ‘where he represents a very good solution’ for Tottenham.
However, the publication asserts that Dragusin is not expected to leave Stadio Luigi Ferraris next month, with a summer exit more likely.
Spurs Web Opinion
Out of all the centre-backs who have been linked with Spurs over the past month, the Dragusin one makes the most sense, given his profile and reported asking price. I would not be surprised if Tottenham tested Genoa’s resolve with an offer or two for the 21-year-old next month.
