According to Fabrizio Romano, Benfica striker Darwin Nunez is set to sign for with a new agent, who is close to Jorge Mendes, amidst speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham this summer.
Nunez is enjoying a prolific campaign in front of goal, having found the back of the net 28 times across all competitions so far (Transfermarkt).
The Athletic reported recently that Jorge Mendes had approached the Uruguayan international about potentially replacing Harry Kane at Spurs this summer. It was explained that Mendes has a good relationship with both Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici.
90min subsequently claimed that Spurs are one of several English clubs to have made contact with the Benfica star, who is allegedly open to a move to the Premier League.
The 22-year-old is thought to be valued at around €80m (£67.8m) by Benfica (O Jogo via Sport Witness).
Romano has now revealed that Nunez has changed his agent and revealed that several top clubs are after the centre-forward this summer.
The journalist also added that Benfica turned down an offer of around €45m (£37.4m) from West Ham for the striker in January.

Spurs Web Opinion
Nunez would likely have plenty of suitors this summer and I wonder if he will be put off at the idea of joining Spurs if Harry Kane stays, which I expect him to. Perhaps, the 22-year-old would prefer to move to a club where he is guaranteed to be the main-man upfront.
