Tottenham Hotspur are set to sign Shakhtar Donetsk winger Manor Soloman to a five-year contract and will undergo his medical on Tuesday ahead of sealing his move, according to Fabrizio Romano.
A FIFA ruling that allowed Ukraine-based players – who are not Ukrainian nationals – to suspend their contract, Solomon exercised this option, prior to agreeing terms with Fulham last July.
Solomon exercised an option to suspend his contract at Shakhtar Donetsk due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and had been due to return at the end of the season, however, it is not possible with the war still taking place.
The clause known as Annex 7 means that Solomon can extend his deal past its current contract expiry date of December 31 and join a new club as a free agent.
The winger spent last season on loan at Fulham and the Cottagers had been keen to make the deal permanent after impressing during his time at the club (Evening Standard).

Manor Soloman to sign five-year contract with Tottenham
The 23-year-old is now set to put pen to paper on a contract until the summer of 2028, having already agreed personal terms with Ange Postecoglou‘s side.
Romano wrote on Twitter: “More details on exclusive news: Manor Solomon will sign a five year deal valid until June 2028 as Tottenham player next week.
“Medical tests booked on Tuesday, as revealed. Deal completed by super agent Pini Zahavi.”
The Israeli international will become Tottenham’s third new signing of the transfer window following the arrival of Guglielmo Vicario and James Maddison, while permanent deals have been wrapped up for Pedro Porro and Dejan Kulusevski.

With a winger arriving, it will now be interesting to see if Bryan Gil still has a future at the club this season or whether he is sent out on loan yet again, or even sold.
Solomon is likely to be an impact player who comes off the bench, rather than someone who will rival for a place in Tottenham’s starting eleven.
