In what comes as a potential boost for Tottenham in their rumoured pursuit of Lloyd Kelly, Football Insider is reporting that the centre-back has turned down multiple contract offers from Bournemouth.
Kelly’s current deal with the Cherries runs out in June and with the player not close to agreeing terms of a new deal, his future remains up in the air.
Football Insider say that Spurs are ‘long-time’ admirers of the defender and failed with a £20m move for the player last summer.
However, it is explained that the North London club did not show any concrete interest in the 25-year-old during last month’s transfer window after Bournemouth put a significant price tag on his head.
The report alleges that despite signing Radu Dragusin from Genoa in January, the Lilywhites remain keen on securing Kelly’s services.

Lloyd Kelly turns down Bournemouth contract offers
The defender has allegedly knocked back multiple offers from the South Coast club to extend his stay.
It is revealed that Andoni Iraola’s men have not yet given up hope of keeping Kelly at the Vitality Stadium beyond the end of the current season.
The publication adds that the likes of AC Milan, Juventus and several Bundesliga clubs are watching the centre-back’s situation, the player being free to sign a pre-contract agreement with non-English sides.
Spurs Web Opinion
I am not sure Kelly will be too keen on moving to Tottenham as he will know that he is going to be a squad player at best for the North London side. Besides, if Ashley Phillips continues progressing well at Plymouth Argyle, Spurs might not need to enter the market for a centre-back in the summer.
