Nuno Espirito Santo and his backroom staff yesterday put the Tottenham Hotspur players through their final training session ahead of their Europa Conference League tie against NS Mura.
While the likes of Harry Kane, Tanguy Ndombele, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Heung-min Son were all spotted on the pitch at Hotspur Way, one player who was nowhere to be seen was Ben Davies, according to Football.London.
The Welshman was not mentioned as being injured during Nuno’s press conference yesterday afternoon, when the Portuguese confirmed that Ryan Sessegnon and Steven Bergwijn are the only absentees for the visit of the Slovakian outfit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow evening (Spurs official).
Davies has found himself playing second fiddle to Sergio Reguilon this season, having had to rely on most of his game time to come in European and domestic cup competitions (transfermarkt).

It is a shame that Ryan Sessegnon’s time at Tottenham continues to be marred by injury issues. Sessegnon’s problems have seen him unable to look to provide competition to Reguilon on the left-hand side of defence, which has led to Davies having plenty of opportunities to feature as understudty.
