Report: £56m-rated Tottenham target is yet to decide on his next destination

According to a report in Sport BILD (as relayed by Sport Witness) while Tottenham have expressed an interest in Dani Olmo, the North London club would not need to rush into a decision as the attacking midfielder’s future will only be sorted out later in the summer.

The report says that Olmo has already decided to leave RB Leipzig at the end of the season but has not made a decision on his next destination yet.

Amidst the interest from the likes of Tottenham and others, it is alleged that the 26-year-old will take his time to decide, particularly since his €65m (£55.9m) release clause will only become active in July.

As a result, the outlet suggests that the Spain international’s future might only be decided after the end of the European Championship.

Dani Olmo has not decided on his future yet

Spurs are named as one of the clubs who have been in contact regarding a move for Olmo but the Lilywhites’ interest has not become concrete yet.

Meanwhile, it is revealed that the attacker’s entourage have also met with the Barcelona hierarchy to discuss a move to Camp Nou.

However, the Catalan club have asked Leipzig to bring down the price, which the Bundesliga club are thought to have no interest in doing.

One does get the feeling that Olmo would be snapped up by one of the big clubs in La Liga, especially if he were to do well for Spain at the Euros in Germany.

However, one would expect the likes of Spurs and other Premier League clubs to test the waters for the 26-year-old. Only time will tell how this transfer saga will progress.
