Sky Italy’s Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed on Sky Sports’ Transfer Centre that AC Milan are now plotting a move for Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo, who has been mooted as a target for Spurs since last summer.
Tottenham have already strengthened at centre-back through the acquisition of Radu Dragusin from Genoa this month while Eric Dier has departed the club.
However, the Lilywhites continue to be linked with various other central defenders, with the likes of Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ko Itakura (Florian Plettenberg) and Bologna’s Riccardo Calafiori (Football Italia) mooted as targets over recent days.
At the start of this month, Adarabioyo’s name was also said to be on the Lilywhites’ wishlist, with reports suggesting that Ange Postecoglou’s men could make another attempt to sign the Fulham star following their failed approach last summer (The Athletic).

AC Milan are now circling Tosin Adarabioyo
Di Marzio has now revealed that the 26-year-old has emerged as a target for Milan, who are trying to land the player on a free transfer next summer.
The journalist points out that with Adarbioyo now having less than six months left in his deal at Craven Cottage, he can now sign pre-contract agreements with non-English clubs.
However, Di Marzio adds that the centre-back is keeping all of his options open for the time being, including penning a new contract with Marco Silva’s men.
Spurs Web Opinion
Tottenham appeared to have moved on from Adarabioyo but if the centre-back is available on a free transfer next summer, one would expect the club to explore a move. However, I do not think the 26-year-old would be particularly keen on a move to the North London side, given that Postecoglou now has three top central defenders at his disposal.
