Fabrizio Romano has revealed that AC Milan have identified Eintracht Frankfurt centre-back Evan Ndicka as an alternative to Japhet Tanganga.
Reports over recent weeks have indicated that Spurs wish to move on both Tangnga and Joe Rodon this summer while bringing in another central defender (talkSPORT).
CalcioMercato.it suggested earlier this week that Milan were ‘ready to sink a blow’ for Tanganga over the coming days.
The report added that the Rossoneri want to try and bring down Tottenham’s asking price of €30m (£24.5m) for the defender and they hope to strike a loan deal with an obligation to buy the player.
According to reports, Fabio Paratici is currently in Italy to negotiate the 23-year-old’s sale with Stefano Pioli’s men (Daniele Longo).
Romano has now taken to social media to reveal that Milan could decide to move for Ndicka instead of the Tottenham man, depending on the asking price for both players.
However, the journalist added that the reigning Serie A champions still view Tanganga as the ‘easier option’ this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion
The fact that Paratici and Tanganga’s agent have flown to Italy suggests that there is a belief on all sides that a deal can be agreed upon sooner rather than later. I would not be surprised if the 23-year-old is holding up a Milan shirt as early as next week.
