Report: AC Milan in talks for rumoured Spurs target

AC Milan are reported to be moving forward with their interest in rumoured Spurs target Mike Maignan.

Italian football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, has claimed that the Serie A giants have earmarked the Lille goalkeeper as a replacement for Gianluigi Donnarumma, after failing to persuade the 22-year-old to extend his stay at the San Siro.

Milan are now said to be pushing ahead to tie up a deal worth just €12million (£10.5million).

Maignan has also been linked with a move to Tottenham with Tuttomercatoweb reporting earlier this month that he is on the radar of the North Londoners.

Hugo Lloris, who is out of contract in the summer of 2022 has been linked with a return to France and a potential reunion with Mauricio Pochettino at Paris Saint-Germain (Eurosport).

Maignan, 25, came through the ranks with Paris Saint-Germain before leaving for Lille in search of first-team football in 2015 and has established himself as the number one at the Ligue 1 outfit, having made 176 appearances in all competitions (transfermarkt).
